Ulsan Orphanage – Sunday 31st March 2013

We will be going to the orphanage this Sunday March 31st.

We need volunteers for the following activities.
1) Nursery/ Kindies
2) Arts/Craft, Games & Hiking – Elementary & Middle school
3) Soccer – Middle & High School boys

Getting to Eonyang is easy, you can take the following buses 1703, 1713 or 1723.

From Ulsan Taewaghan Station to Eonyang bus terminal it takes about 50 minutes
MAKE SURE YOU GET OFF AT EONYANG BUS TERMINAL. NOT THE KTX TERMINAL.
Buses 1713 and 1723 will pull into Eonyang Bus Terminal. However, 1703 (going to the KTX), will stop just outside the bus terminal – therefore, please make sure you get off at the first stop as you enter Eonyang (just after you get off the highway) .

Be at the Eonyang Bus Terminal no later than 2:45pm. Please wait outside the Dunkin Donuts. Someone will be there to pick you up.

If you have committed yourself to volunteer and are going to be late or for some reason can’t make it, please text or call myself or Rathi in advance.

Ulsan Whale Boat Race April 27th

The Whale Boat Race is a summer event that promotes healthy lifestyles, fosters team building, and gives corporations, organizations and families an opportunity to develop community leadership. Collectively we enrich the

quality of life for the citizens of Ulsan and region.

Not only will there be Whale boat racing, but the festival activities will include; great food, great music, kids’activities, a parade of teams and much, much more for friends and family alike.

Again this year T-HOPE will be organizing the Whale Boat Race for the foreigners.

Due to last year success and the demand from foreigners wanting to participate, we will be accepting registration from 50 teams.

This year there will be 3 categories: Men, Mixed, and Women. All teams are guaranteed 3 races. 5 races to the final. All Team Manager will be emailed the layout of the race.

Participants can register in 2 categories.

A team is not registered with the festival until registration is paid in full. Once you have paid your registration please email us at: thope06@gmail.com so we can register your team.

We will also have our main website www.thopeasia.org ready by the end of the month.

T-Hope 2012 Christmas Party A Huge Success!

The T-Hope 2012 Christmas Party at the Eonyang Orphanage is becoming an annual tradition. Last year T-Hope worked with foreign teachers to raise money to give the children a very special day filled with fun activities, presents and even a visit from Santa.
